All trips depart from the School Lane Parking lot at the Souderton High School, Souderton, Pa. We travel on Hagey's deluxe coaches, with rest room. Due to circumstance beyond our control, escorts and bus drivers may alter itinerary if needed. No smoking or alcoholic beverages permitted on buses. Gold cards may not be used for trips

New York is a city of neighborhoods, and each section of town has their individual style, including fun and exciting food emporiums and restaurants. Spend the day with us as our bus takes us to several neighborhoods and allows time to "nosh" and shop. We will start our touring uptown at Zabars, then move on to Chelsea Market where you might catch the appearance of a Food Network celebrity. At lunchtime you will arrive at the location where Little Italy adjoins Chinatown. You will be able to tour both areas and have time for lunch at a restaurant of your choice. On to Dean and DeLuca's, then end the day at South Street Seaport. As we head out of the city, we will drive by the site of the World Trade Center. Cost of all food and samples are not included in cost of trip.

Spend the day at Gettysburg National Military Park and take home living memories of this national battleground and cemetery. Re-live the 3 day battle through the mesmerizing stories and facts presented by your escort. Start the day concentrating on the first day's action, then spend some free time in town for lunch and visiting interesting shops. Resume your tour with the second day's action, moving on to the third day's action. Before departing, there will be a stop at the National Cemetery where President Lincoln delivered his most famous address. The Battle of Gettysburg, in the summer of 1863, resulted in Robert E. Lee's retreat to Virginia and an end to the hopes of the Confederacy for independence. For more information on this historic site visit: www.hps.gov/gett. Note: Bruce Stocking, Historian for the W.S. Hancock Society, has appeared in films and documentaries about the Civil War and works with a number of Federal and State historical sites in developing historical programming. General Hancock was a hero at the Battle of Gettysburg, and Bruce, accompanied by his wife Karin, present an outstanding tour of this site. If you have attended his seminars, you know you will be in for "a treat" on this trip!

Whether you come for the history, the education, the water, or the hospitality, there is always something to enjoy in Annapolis. The Maritime Heritage Boat Festival will take place this day to add to your touring pleasure. Take time for a leisurely walk in the historic district, peer over a garden gate, enjoy a scrumptious seafood dinner, visit the many quaint shops, or simply relax by the water. Located by the Severn River, Annapolis was established in 1649 by Puritans seeking religious freedom and soon became the Capital City for the Province. It was the site of the nation's first State House, was our US Capital in 1783-1784, and remains Maryland's Capital City today. Annapolis is home to the US Naval Academy and features over sixty 18th Century structures for the history buff. Our day will be free until 2PM when we board a sightseeing boat for a narrated 40 minute cruise of Annapolis Harbor (ticket included in trip fee). Every year, New York City closes Ninth Avenue from 37th to 57th Street for their extraordinary international food festival. This street festival offers crafts, entertainment, and food from countries all over the world. Find the best of the Ninth Avenue's restaurants and ethnic cuisines available to purchase and eat. You are on your own for the day - to stroll and sample the festival, shop, visit museums, or attend a Broadway performance. The choice is yours!! If you want to attend the Food Festival, there will be a drop-off at this location for your convenience, as well as a drop-off in mid-town Manhattan. You should eat before departing NYC as there will only be a short rest stop on our trip home. We depart from NYC at 6:00PM.
